Mental Health is Physical Health

Physical illnesses of the human body that involve the brain
are often referred to as mental illnesses.
These disorders and the emotions that often accompany them
do not affect just the individual diagnosed with them.

Learn why and how they affect us all...
and what you can do
to educate and empower yourself
to lead a healthier life
for yourself and others.
Minds and K9s, Inc. provides education, resources and seminars
for professionals, businesses and organizations
throughout the United States and direct
service programs in Leavenworth County, KS.
Welcome!

Learning how the human brain functions can be a first step.

The human brain is just another body organ, such as the heart is.
It can get ill, and it can get better.
Sometimes other types of illnesses or events happening in our lives have
an effect on how we feel; and our ability to learn, work, play or otherwise enjoy life.
Let us help you or your organization's members and employees develop a better
understanding of how to  cope, change or grow effectively, whether:

Due to a life situation that seems overwhelming,
A physical illness of the brain, or
Changes occurring at your place of business.
